🎉 Bake Yourself Happy! Learn a life-skill to love and share. ❤️
A gorgeous, crusty, hand-made loaf can make even the simplest meal heart-warmingly memorable. It's also fantastic for your health. 🥗
Home-baking skips the mega-dose of chemicals found in much store-bought bread. Slow fermentation lowers GI and makes nutrients more accessible to your body. It's good news for every body! 🙌
Content and OverviewOur hands-on course guides you through five different projects, each highlighting various aspects of artisan baking. 📚
We'll walk you through the uninterrupted 'straight run' from mixing to baking and how to use your fridge if you want to slow the process. This gives you the flexibility to fit the baking around your life, instead of the other way around! 🕒
These projects will give you a practical grasp of concepts such as kneading and gluten development, fast or slow fermentation, the relationship between rising time and dough temperature, hydration, leavens, proving, shaping, and baking. 🍞
Mastering basic artisan breads will give you the confidence to impress your friends and family, and to create recipes of your own. We hope it will also inspire you to explore the magical world of sourdough with our forthcoming course on Udemy, Artisan Sourdough Made Simple.

I'm impressed by the expertise of the instructors, their enthusiasm for baking, and their ability to teach well. I appreciate being taught why each part of the process is necessary and what it does to the dough. This helps me understand what has gone wrong in my attempts to bake bread in the past (before taking this course) and what to do in the future. I especially appreciate the instructors treating baking as a skill to be learned instead of just providing a formula (recipe) to be followed. They state different flours will give different results and teach how to get good results from the ingredients you're working with.

you have to go back to the recipe to find out the oven temperature. The dough was not the same texture, you don't explain what you need to do if the dough is too dry or too wet. still good bread

Instructors be like Penny and Dragan :) I happen to stumble upon the course (and Thank God for that!) and once I went through the preview I was very happy because this was exactly what I have been looking for... The lovely couple are BREAD MAGICIANS! :) I adore how their teaching is so old school, traditional and absolutely authentic and honest! They teach literally HOW to bake a bread and not just share recipes and that is exactly HOW one should learn :) I felt I was in a country side cottage when I went through the entire course :) there is so much to learn and the knowledge is vast.. I tried one of their techniques to knead a dough and I was doing my happy dance in the kitchen! (my mother thought I was crazy, ha ha) I was so happy that I was grinning like The Grinch :D (no kidding!) Penny says in one of the videos that baking should be enjoyable, relaxing and easy - THIS is exactly why I was doing my happy dance, never had I ever felt so relaxed when I kneaded a dough :) Also they are so generous that no matter what you ask, how much you ask and any number of times you ask they ALWAYS respond instantly! Dragan - I really appreciate your patience! :) I did as suggested by them and went through the entire course - This actually helped me figure out what exactly I have to focus on, plan and practice accordingly. I cant wait to get started! :) I am in love with the course, in love with the content and in love with the lovely couple :) Thank you so very much!
