How to bake a Victoria Sponge

In this lesson you will learn how to bake the classic victoria sponge cake. Look at the equipment and ingredients needed to make an 8 inch 2 layer cake, and the classic baking methods used in it's creation. 

How to bake a Carrot Cake

In this lesson you will learn how to bake a Carrot cake. You will look at the equipment and ingredients needed to make mini carrot cake, and the classic baking techniques used for cakes using oil instead of butter. 

How to bake Chocolate Brownies

In this lesson you will learn how to make a rich chocolate brownie.  You will explore the equipment and ingredients needed and the classic baking techniques of working with recipes containing chocolate. 

How to bake and ice Butter Biscuits

In this lesson you will learn how to bake a classic butter biscuit recipe and look at a simple technique for icing them. You will look at the equipment and ingredients needed, and the classic baking techniques required when baking biscuits. 

How to bake French Meringues

In this lesson you will learn how to bake the classic french meringue.  You will look at the equipment and ingredients needed and learn the classic baking techniques required to create great merginues.

    The course was a delight. It helped me not only in learning new recipes but also in refining techniques and avoiding common mistakes made in the baking processes. The presentation was good, though at times one wanted to have a closer look at the processes rather than just the finished product. There were also some mismatches between the course material and what was shown in the video. But the material is going to be my reference for a long time to come. I hope to take up more such courses offered by Udemy.
