This is a perfect fluffy sponge cake recipe.
Pound cake is a very special butter & egg based cake. This can be used as a tea cake plus for any special occasion decorated cake too. It is generally made with a pound of each of the four ingredients butter, sugar, flour and egg. This cake is a mini version of it.
This is a basic eggless chocolate cake which is very scrumptious yet simple to make.

This sugar syrup is particularly used for butter based cakes as they harden when you refrigerate. Sugar syrup keeps your cakes soft and give a smooth mouthfeel. Oil based cakes are usually softer than butter and egg based cakes and adding sugar syrup is optional. It is good to add only a thin layer. Too much syrup makes the cake soggy.

The same steps are repeated again and again in almost every video. No new ideas or technique are shown in the course. The instructor does not have a very good hand in frosting, no cleanliness in her work. The instructor is a beginner herself. The fun part is "you can see ANTS around her fondant silicon mat in the videos". I wanted my money back but it seems since I have completed the course I am not eligible for refund.
