Introduction
1 lectureMeet the average metal dude from Northern Sweden and get to know about the proud tradition of fika. Fika is at the center of Swedish culture and should be at the back of your mind when you are baking the seven Swedish treats.
The Swedish fika tradition goes far back in time. Swedes have always invited each other home on coffee receptions (kafferep) to hang out in official or lightweight forms. And the requirement was seven kinds of cookies. If you offered less than seven, you were considered to be poor and if you offered more than seven you were though to be posh.
