1. bring 4-6 quarts of water to a rolling boil. add salt to taste, if desired. 2. add contents of package to boiling water. stir gently. 3. return to a boil. for authentic "al dente" pasta, boil uncovered, stirring occasionally for 10 minutes. for more tender pasta, boil an additional 1 minute. 4. remove from heat. drain well. 5. serve immediately with your favorite barilla sauce. for salads: rinse with cold water after draining. I recently have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. I have been looking for different options to eat since Carbs are a No No. I have tried a few different items to replace spaghetti and was glad I found this stuff.Tiny box makes quite a bit. I got 4 servings out of it. It increases in size by a lot. You notice they are really thin uncooked. I cooked mine in the microwave un a spaghetti cooking container. I kept cooking until I was happy with the texture.Flavor and texture isn't icky but it isn't exactly like spaghetti. After your fist bite, it gets better. You can fool yourself into thinking it's "real" spaghetti. ;)I made the whole box just to see how much it would make. Next time I'll just make a single serving. I did put 2 servings in the freezer, I'll edit this once I see how they defrost.
