Gradually incorporate 450 grams of all-purpose flour, adjusting as necessary to achieve a soft and non-sticky dough consistency. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
Step 2
While the dough is chilling, prepare the apple filling. Grate 1000 grams of apples and transfer them to a skillet. Add 100 grams of sugar, 50 grams of almond flakes, and a pinch of cinnamon.
Cook the mixture over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until all the liquid has evaporated. This should take about 10-15 minutes. Once done, set aside to cool.
Step 3
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). On a lightly floured surface, roll out the chilled dough until it is about 1/8 inch thick. Cut it into even triangles or wedges.
