Step 1
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cottage cheese, semolina, and sugar. Mix well until the ingredients are thoroughly combined. Make sure there are no lumps in the cottage cheese.
Next, beat the eggs in a separate bowl and add them to the mixture along with the sour cream. Stir everything together until you achieve a smooth consistency.
Step 2
Preheat your oven to 180°C (356°F). While the oven is heating up, grease your baking pan to prevent the casserole from sticking. You can use butter or a non-stick spray for this.
Transfer the cottage cheese mixture into the prepared baking pan, spreading it out evenly.
Step 3
Place the baking pan in the preheated oven and bake for about 50 minutes. You will notice that the casserole will rise as it bakes.
Once baked, it will firm up as it cools. Don't be alarmed if it settles a bit after you take it out of the oven; that's perfectly normal.
Step 4
After about 20 minutes of cooling time, the casserole will become denser and easier to slice. You can decorate it with fresh fruits or a dusting of powdered sugar if desired.
Serve it warm or chilled, and enjoy your delicious cottage cheese casserole!
