Add the softened butter and the wet ingredients to the dry mixture. Begin to combine everything to form a dough. It will be very soft and sticky, making sure to knead until all ingredients are incorporated.
Step 4
Place the dough in the freezer for at least 30 minutes, but 1 hour is preferable. This will make the dough easier to work with when shaping the cookies.
Step 5
Roll the chilled dough into heart shapes and coat them in additional powdered sugar. Make sure each cookie is well covered for an appealing finish.
Step 6
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Place the shaped cookies on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes. Once done, let them cool for a bit before enjoying your delightful heart-shaped cookies!
