Instructions
Step 1
In a large mixing bowl, combine the **ground meat**, finely chopped onion, **breadcrumbs**, egg, salt, minced garlic, and spices. Mix thoroughly until the ingredients are well combined.
Next, slowly add the milk while continuing to mix. Adjust the amount of milk based on the moisture of the meat mixture. Once combined, shape the mixture into meatballs weighing about **25 grams (0.9 ounces)** each.
Place the meatballs on a tray or baking sheet and cover them with plastic wrap. Refrigerate the meatballs while you prepare the dough. Any remaining meatballs can be frozen for later use.
Step 2
In a separate bowl, whisk together the **eggs**, sugar, and salt until well combined, about **30 seconds**. Then, add in the yogurt and milk, mixing until smooth.
Sift in the flour combined with the baking powder, and mix until a homogenous dough forms. Finally, incorporate the **melted butter**, stirring until evenly mixed.
