Step 1
In a large mixing bowl, combine 500 grams of all-purpose flour, 100 grams of sugar, and 7 grams of instant yeast.
In a separate bowl, whisk together 200 milliliters of warm milk, 75 grams of melted butter, and 2 large eggs. Slowly add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients along with 1 teaspoon of salt.
Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic. Cover the bowl with a clean kitchen towel and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until it doubles in size.
Step 2
While the dough is rising, prepare the filling. In a small bowl, mix together 100 grams of brown sugar and 2 tablespoons of ground cinnamon.
Once the dough has risen, roll it out on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle about 1 cm thick. Spread 50 grams of softened butter evenly over the surface.
Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the buttered dough, making sure to cover it completely.
Step 3
Starting from one end, carefully roll the dough into a tight log. Once rolled, slice it into 12 equal pieces.
Arrange the cinnamon rolls in a greased baking dish, allowing space between each roll to expand. Cover the dish with a kitchen towel and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
Step 4
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Bake the cinnamon rolls for about 25-30 minutes, or until they turn golden brown.
Once baked, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly before icing.
Step 5
In a mixing bowl, beat together 100 grams of softened cream cheese and 50 grams of softened butter until smooth.
Add in 200 grams of powdered sugar and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, mixing until well combined. Adjust the consistency with 1-2 tablespoons of milk if necessary.

Spread the icing generously over the warm cinnamon rolls and enjoy your delicious creation!
